Our annual Arts Week took place this week with a focus on fashion, in order to acknowledge the Charles Worth celebrations taking place locally this year. Charles Worth was born 200 years ago in Bourne and is considered to be the father of haute couture; therefore, the children have completed a variety of activities this week related to fashion design.
Children in EYFS, Year 5 and Year 6 designed and created clothes whilst the children in the other year groups created a variety of accessories and hats, with Year 4 making Tudor crowns to link to their Tudor day. The celebrations and activities culminated in a fashion show around the MUGA this afternoon where the children proudly wore their wonderful creations. Thank you to parents for providing clothes and materials for this week as well as coming to support their children in their catwalk! We hope you enjoyed it.
