Hot School Meals

Taylor Shaw Catering Info

Since September 2019 our school meals have been provided by Taylor Shaw Catering. Taylor Shaw operate throughout the UK providing freshly prepared food that contributes to the wellbeing of young people in their learning environment. The daily cost for a meal is £2.95. Account Registration

To order school meals click on the 'Place New Order' tab below.

Your child will need a registration code from school to enter on the registration page. Please see Mrs Pengelly in the office who will advise you of your child's individual code. Please note that this code can only be used once.  You will be directed to the registration page where you will be required to complete the following information; name, email address, password, your child’s name, date of birth and most importantly the class they are going into.  Once completed, select ‘register’.  You will then be redirected to a calendar page where you can view the menus for each week. 

Ordering Meals

Menus will be available for six weeks.  Please note the deadline for meal orders is midnight of the Tuesday prior to the week you are ordering for, the school has no flexibility to work beyond this.  After this deadline the menus for that week will be taken down and you will be unable to order meals for that period.  Any changes to ordering dates, which is usually around school holidays, will be communicated through the weekly bulletin. 

To order meals, select the relevant week for which you would like to place your order.  You will then be shown the meal options for that week and the names of your children.  Tick the relevant choices and ‘proceed to checkout’.  If you wish to order for more than one week at a time select the calendar tab to choose your next week.  Once you have made all your choices please check the details of the order and select ‘proceed to payment’.  This will then take you through to our secure payment page.


Enter your card details and select ‘payment’.  All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Universal Free School Meals – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Order meals in the same way then select proceed to checkout.  This will direct you to your basket which will show there is nothing to pay.  Select ‘place order’.

Free School Meals for Years 3,4,5 and 6

If your child is in KS2 and is entitled to free school meals (FSM), please register as above BUT BEFORE ORDERING MEALS please email Mrs Pengelly via with your child’s name and class so she can activate your account as free school meals. 

If you are unsure if your child qualifies from FSM, parents are able to apply via Lincolnshire County Council's online free school meal application service. This provides parents and guardians with an easy to use Parent Portal to apply for FSM using the following link:-

Requesting a Medical Diet

If your child requires a medical diet due to a food allergy, food intolerance or a medical condition that requires an adapted menu (e.g. carbohydrate count for Type 1 Diabetes), please follow this link to request a medical diet: For further support, please refer to the Parent User Guide found at the bottom of this page.

Forgotten orders

If you at any time have forgotten what you have ordered, simply log into the site, go to ‘My Account’ and click on ‘Meals Ordered’.

Trips and sporting events

If a trip or sporting event is arranged and a meal has been ordered a packed lunch will automatically be provided instead.  The packed lunch will contain, for example, a cheese baguette, cake or flapjack, fruit and bottled water. 


If your child is away from school and a meal has been ordered for that week unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund as the food will already have been ordered.
