The School Council is made up of two representatives from each class in Years 2 - 6 which change on a termly basis. The children are introduced to the democratic process by making 'candidate' speeches and then voting by secret ballot. The class reps bring their ideas from their classes to the fortnightly School Council meetings for discussion with the rest of the Council. Some of the ideas implemented so far have been growing our own guinea pig food, chess club, art and craft club, new blinds for the classrooms and new books for KS2 classrooms.
