Now Press Play - Year 6 explore life during WWII

Year 6 had an unforgettable experience this week using Now Press Play to explore life during World War II.

With headphones on and imaginations engaged, Year 6 were transported back in time to witness key moments from the war through the eyes of a child. From air raid sirens and evacuation to rationing and resilience, the immersive adventure helped bring history to life!

It sparked thoughtful discussions, deepened understanding, and gave our children a real sense of what it might have felt like to live through such a significant period in history. This experience has inspired our writing and we cannot wait to read their completed diary entries!
