Roots to Food

Darren Tinkler, Roots to Food, once again, returned to Thurlby to cook with our Reception, Year 1 and Year 5 children. We received the following feedback:

‘It was a pleasure to return to Thurlby. The children were excellent especially the Reception class as it was their first time cooking with me. All the children demonstrated terrific team work. The chopping skills of the Y1 and Y5 children had really developed since my last visit. Staff support was wonderful as always. A huge thank you to Mr Terry for volunteering to come in and support the day. Much appreciated.’

Well done to all our children for being so well behaved and demonstrating our Thurlby values to Darren.
