SciFest - Zoolab Visit

On Wednesday, our Reception and KS1 children had a fabulous time with Chris from Zoolab.  He brought along some of his pets from home to share with the children and taught us all many facts about each one.  The children had the opportunity to meet a snake, gecko, tarantula and two rats all who had special names, such as Princess Katie.  Many of the children enjoyed holding or stroking each of the animals, except for the tarantula who they observed from a short distance away!

Amazing fact: Did you know tarantulas usually have eight eyes but they are actually blind?
