Shakespeare for Schools

On Wednesday of this week a selection of the Year 5 and 6 children from Thurlby and Bourne Westfield took to the stage at the Key Theatre to perform their production of ‘Much Ado about Nothing’ (with a modern twist). We are immensely proud of everything our participating children have achieved over the last few months; rehearsing every week (and one Saturday) learning their lines, their cues, their dance moves, handling a variety of props on stage, learning how to engage an audience and speak loudly and slowly for all to hear. Everything we asked of them they did - and more, we could not be prouder. Many people commented that our children were so brilliant and professional for amateur actors and actresses.
