Year 1 - Letters to the King

In English last week, year one had a very exciting task to complete. They had to write a letter to King Charles III.  Throughout the week they learnt all about question marks and thought of some very interesting questions that they would like to ask the King. The children also learnt all about the structure of a letter and what they needed to include. Once they were ready, they all wrote individuals letters to the King, including facts about them and questions they would like to ask him. Miss Baldwin has packaged them up and posted them to Buckingham Palace. The children are eagerly waiting to see if we get a reply from His Majesty . We will keep you updated!
