Year 1 - The Queen's Hat

In English this week, we began our new book The Queen’s Hat. A very regal hat appeared and sparked lots of curious guesses about who it might belong to. As we shared the story, the children spotted the hat flying over famous London landmarks. We then brought the tale to life by acting it out together. The children worked as a team to create the landmarks while Miss Baldwin made the hat soar above them. Year 1 were fully immersed and absolutely loved it. What a fantastic start to the new term!
