Year 2 have been learning about measurement and mass over the last couple of weeks. We heard how heavy King Charles’ crowns are and decided to find out exactly how heavy they are.
The State Crown weighs 1kg but we were amazed to find out that the St Edward’s Crown weighs 2kg 155g. We took it in turns to lift that exact mass and we could not believe how heavy it felt. No wonder King Charles only wears it for a very short time!
