Year 3 - Trip to Peterborough Cathedral

Year 3 had a wonderful time at Peterborough Cathedral on Thursday, based on their learning around the Easter story. There were 6 reflective activities in the morning session; Palm Sunday, Jesus washes the disciples' feet, The Last Supper, Garden of Gethsemane, The Crucifixion and The Resurrection. After lunch, and a bit of a run around in the wind, they created some wonderful Easter based stained glass windows. The children were respectful and knowledgeable. Huge thanks to the marvellous staff and volunteers at Peterborough Cathedral and also to our wonderful volunteers who helped to make it such a worthwhile experience.
