Year 3 Visit to Grimsthorpe Castle

Year 3 had a great day of outdoor learning at Grimsthorpe today. We learnt all about deer from the British Deer Society, how animals use camouflage, watched some forestry machines in action, which fruit and vegetables are grown in the kitchen gardens, played some nature games and finally, how long tree roots can be! The children listened attentively, asked some super questions and behaved brilliantly. Well done!

Thank you to Grimsthorpe Castle Countryside Learning for providing this day for our children, free of charge. A super day was had by all.
