Year 2 - Fire Engine Visit

On Monday, children in Year 2 enjoyed a visit from a fire engine. The visit tied in with their learning about the Great Fire of London and the firefighters were impressed with the facts the children had already learned. The crew explained the similarities and differences between firefighting now and in the past and how the Great Fire influenced firefighting today. Year 2 asked some great questions and were respectful throughout.
